Toledo, OH 2022

I was invited to be the visiting artist for the mural class taught by teaching artist, Yusuf Lateef at Bowling Green State University. The class learns how to create a mural from start to finish, beginning with the research and design process. For this project, we looked into the history of the Old South End of Toledo, Ohio to create a mural for the Broadway Food Market, located in the same community. We chose four different architectural locations significant in the Old South End.
